Do travelling and touring interest you? Do you wish to learn about tourist places, regional food and the culture of places around the globe? If yes, then Bachelor of Tourism and Travel Management (BTTM) is the course for you. BTTM is a 4 year undergraduate program where the students study and learn about travel, management and hospitality.

Students who have completed secondary higher education and want to apply for travel and tourism courses after 12th need a minimum of 50% from qualifying and recognised board are eligible to apply for the course. Apart from these criteria, a dedicated entrance test or interview is required by some colleges. Special tests like IELTS, GATA may also be preferred by some colleges.

Over the four years, the students learn in and outs of the Tourism and Travel industry. The travel industry requires a thorough knowledge of tourism places, their specialities and attraction. Through this course, students get an opportunity to explore the hospitality and culture of places, including languages and cuisines. Students are trained in communication and vocational skills to progress in the industry.

The course focuses on equipping students with a practical approach to settle in the travel industry. The industry demands tourism knowledge, hospitality and travel management and of course, updated knowledge about the tourism places. They required to plan and manage the travel, accommodation and daily itinerary for the clients.

Apart from upbeat vacation and recreational tourism, a huge population prefer and have an interest in Religious tourism. Hence, knowing about cultural references and religious heritage is of great importance, especially in a country like India.
